Why You’ll Love Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip

Anyone with a sweet tooth is for sure going to love this recipe. All you need is a handful of ingredients and it can be whipped up in minutes. I love making this recipe for all sorts of occasions and it is always a hit! This is the safest way to enjoy a dessert that tastes exactly like cookie dough!

    What Is Cookie Dough Dip?

It is exactly as it sounds! It is a combination of ingredients that make a dip that tastes exactly like cookie dough. The recipe is for peanut butter chocolate chip dip and it uses ingredients like peanut butter and Reese’s cups to get that thick cookie dough flavor with bits of chocolate.

    Key Ingredients You’ll Need

    • Butter
    • Brown Sugar
    • Peanut Butter
    • Cream Cheese
    • Icing Sugar
    • Vanilla
    • Mini Reese Peanut Butter Cups

Step 1. Add butter and brown sugar to a mixer and combine. Add peanut butter and cream cheese and combine.

Step 2. Add the icing sugar a bit at a time and mix in the vanilla.

Is Raw Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Edible?

Yes! This recipe is definitely edible because it’s not exactly similar to regular cookie dough. This recipe does not contain ingredients like flour or eggs. You can enjoy peanut butter cookie dough dip without concerns of anyone getting sick from it.

What Do You Serve With Cookie Dough Dip?

There are a ton of amazing options to dip into this recipe. You can try things like pretzels, nilla wafers, graham crackers, chips, cookies, etc. This recipe can easily be enjoyed as a fruit dip. You can dip all sorts of your favorite fruits like apples, bananas, strawberries, and more. The possibilities are endless and of course always delicious!

    Can I Add-In?

Yes! If you want to add more to this dip you can. Try adding different kinds of candies like snickers, M & M’s Twix, kit kats, and more. Put in sprinkles, dark or white chocolate chips, nuts, caramel, or toffee bits. I would only recommend putting 2 or 3 add-ins to not overpower the dip.

Can This Be Made In Advance?

A great thing about this chocolate chip cookie dip is that it is super simple to make and can be made in advance. Place all the ingredients into a bowl and keep the dip stored in the fridge until you are ready to serve. I recommend allowing the dip to cool to room temperature before enjoying it.

How Long Does Cookie Dough Dip Last?

When kept at room temperature, it can last up to three days. If you are looking for longer shelf life, it can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months.

    How To Store?

Place the peanut butter dip into an airtight container for the best storage method. This can of course be left at room temperature but can be stored for much longer in the freezer.

Can I Make This a Keto Cookie Dough Dip?

Technically, yes. But that requires a lot of artificial sugar. You would want to replace the brown sugar and icing sugar, or powdered sugar, with their Swerve counter parts (I get mine online). I like to use Swerve because it gives me the conversation rate. Since fake sugar is always a little sweeter than regular sugar, I would start low and carefully add more as you taste. You will also need to use LIly’s brand peanut butter cups. I would also recommend a no sugar added peanut butter.
